Back blogging

I know that it has been almost a month since the post - but it was a busy month! For the holidays, we headed south for some sun and heat. We had a great trip, but had unseasonably cool weather. This was funny, since home was having unseasonably warm weather. I think there were a couple of days where it was just as warm here as it was were we were!

Our US trip started off with us flying to San Diego where we had a quick stay with Aunt Christy, Uncle Steve, and cousin Taeya. The next morning we drove to Florence, Arizona (an hour south of Phoenix) after a quick stop to pick up Aunt Emily.

I was great to see Gran, Grandad, Aunt Heather, Aunt Emily, Great Aunt Moira, Great Uncle Lawrence, and Aunt Leslie. We did lots of walks and saw a ton of cacti.

Christmas day was beautiful which enabled us to have a wonderful feast outside.














I tried my first swim while we were in Arizona. The water temperature was a little too cool for my liking.



The evening of the 26th we headed back to San Diego to have a visit with Grandma, Aunt Christy, Uncle Steve, Taeya, Aunt Lee, Uncle Tim, and Hunter. There was lots of playing, both inside and out. And a trip to Legoland was definitely a highlight (maybe more for my parents than for me!).







Mom and Dad also got to go to their first NFL game.



It was a busy time. Glad to be back home and settling back into a routine. Mom and Dad are excited that I have taken to napping in my bed (without too much protest).
